Victoria University
The Connections program assists young people with barriers to their education and training and works with the young people to overcome these barriers and get back in touch with their learning and their future. To be eligible for Connections, young people need to be aged 15-19.
Advice, referral and/or case management for young people in the western suburbs that face barriers to their participation in education and training. This could also be re-engagement into mainstream schooling, alternative education, or education and training at various institutions. Young people need to be aged 15-25.
Programs that focus on self esteem, career planning, pathways, employment skills and re-engaging in education. These are ran at different times throughout the year.
A gateway to access education or training at Victoria University.
Hours: 9 am till 5 pm; Monday to Friday
Cost: All services are free.
